Covered Bridge in Autumn 16" x 20" Acrylic on Canvas There was a place east of Nashville where there was a park in the wilderness. You had to walk a mile of two back to find a footbridge over a rather deep gorge. I was traveling to Mississippi along the back roads when I came upon another footbridge that I did not have time to explore. There have been lots of bridges in my life and I am fascinated by them all. What did people do before they learned how to build bridges? Now I live a mile or two form the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge on Highway 64 near Taos. Another bridge, another crossing, until I cross the rainbow bridge.
