Bayou 16" x 20" Acrylic on Canvas I was born in Louisiana so bayous were a common sight growing up, Red Chute, Dorchette, Twelve Mile Bayou, were just a few names I remember for my early years. This isn't a particular bayou that I recall but an impression of all the bayous I may have crossed. Bridges are a common thread in getting from one place to another anywhere in Louisiana, but the bayous are the true lifeline and legacy of that state of mind ...
