Sailing 16" x 20" Acrylic on Paper I lived aboard the schooner Western Union in Key West during the summer of 1982. This isn't a Western Union, and we never flew a spinnaker, but I have been on a similar boat. I was invited aboard the sailing vessel "Formidable" which had been an America's Cup racing yacht (according to Etiene, the captain). Etiene and his girlfriend invited me and my girlfriend to have dinner. It was a beautiful boat and this painting reminds me of that evening ...
